How does BetterConsult benefit you ?
- BetterConsult is a pre-consultation questionnaire that asks a number of questions your doctor would usually ask about your reason for visit and prepares the notes they usually need to type. By knowing this right away, your doctor can focus on the ideal treatment for your health.
- BetterConsult also allows you to better consider what you want to discuss with your doctor, and help you think through your symptoms in advance.
Does it protect your medical information?
- With BetterConsult your medical information is private, confidential and totally secure. The information stays in Australia and is only shared with your doctor or medical professional. People at risk of heart disease will be eligible for a heart check-up, available free (no out of pocket cost) as it is bulk-billed from our GP practices at mount Kuring-Gai.
How does it work?
You will receive an SMS from our practice the day before your appointment (or immediately if your appointment is within 24 hours of booking) with a link to your pre-consultation questionnaire.
When you receive the SMS, simply
- Click the secure link in the SMS
- Complete the BetterConsult questionnaire
